3. Student will understand how to locate the community, Texas, and the United States on a map and globe.

Differentiation strategies to meet diverse learner needs: Teacher will model by drawing a map of the school and locating the cafeteria, office, classroom, gym, and nurses office by labeling and using cardinal directions.
