Description
Dr. Jude A. Benavides is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Environmental Sciences at The University of Texas at Brownsville. He joined the faculty in 2004. Benavides is a Brownsville native and a hydrologist. He studies water quality, particularly with Brownsville's resacas, the Rio Grande, the Arroyo Colorado and the Bahia Grande, along with water storage, urban water efficiency and flood control.
