Description

The UT Brownsville Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness coordinates and distributes end-of-course instructor evaluations to students enrolled in coursework in a given academic semester. Evaluations give students an opportunity to offer constructive feedback to instructors and in turn, provide faculty with valuable assessment for planning, effectiveness and improvement. Evaluations are completed online via the Blackboard portal or through an invitation sent to eligible students by email link. The survey period usually runs for a period of two weeks at the end of an academic semester and closes prior to finals week. The OIRPE offers incentive giveaways when resources are available to encourage eligible students to complete the evaluations and increase response rates.
