Description
The exciting melodrama, by Frederick Knott, is the story of gold-digging Tony Wendice, who marries Margot for her money and plans to murder her to get her fortune. Motivated by resentment and greed, Tony has arranged what he thinks is the perfect murder, but his plan is foiled when his wife survives the attack. Come and discover how Tony will squirm his way out of the predicament he has created for himself. "Dial 'M' for Murder" was adapted from a stage play into a very successful movie in 1954 directed by the legendary Alfred Hitchcock starring Ray Milland and Grace Kelly. It was also readapted in 1998 for the movie "A Perfect Murder," starring Michael Douglas, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Viggo Mortensen.
