"Dial 'M' for Murder" was adapted from a stage play into a very successful movie in 1954 directed by the legendary Alfred Hitchcock starring Ray Milland and Grace Kelly. It was also readapted in 1998 for the movie "A Perfect Murder," starring Michael Douglas, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Viggo Mortensen.
