The purpose of this interview is to learn about the history of the Cross Family and their journey from South Carolina to Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, Mexico. The Cross Family was an integral part of the transnational business community and through this interview, we will learn about the family history with regard to their mixed-race origins, social status within the borderland community, and strong family values.
