Description
The interviewee was Roberto Lopez. He is a community organizer/activist and works with the Texas Civil Rights Project (TCRP). He has been working before and during the COVID-19 pandemic towards racial and economic justice—focusing generally on the assault on asylum and border militarization. Lopez has an insight on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the Rio Grande Valley as a border region and how it plays a role on migration and border crossings.
