An Interdisciplinary Biliteracy Sequence: Aligning Daily Instruction With the Way Young Bilingual Children Learn

Abstract
The article focuses on "Interdisciplinary Biliteracy Sequence", an innovative approach that connects active exploration, knowledge construction, and biliteracy development in young bilingual children. It comprises three phases: Phase 1 involves hands-on experiences, Phase 2 encourages writing about the experience, and Phase 3 includes diverse reading activities. It is noted that throughout all phases, listening, speaking, and intentional language production are emphasized.
