Description
Black and white photographs. Four Photographs. Depicted: Young boy and older militant; "Rebel soldiers, Matamoros, Mexico. [in front of El Canon-Rutledge building]" "June 13, 1913 after the battle of bodies of friend and enemies were gathered and cremated together west of the city of Matamoros it took several days to burn the bodies completely. The stench was very offensive in the city of Brownsville for days."
