Description
An interview with Bruce Aiken, a local historian in Brownsville, who talks about the history of Fort Brown in the second half of the 19th century. Aiken explains the land conflict between Mexico and United States, and the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, in the Brownsville area. Fort Brown became a permanent post along the border of United States in 1848.
