Description

A documentary honoring the life of José Mendoza López, a World War II veteran and one of twelve Latinos to receive the Medal of Honor of the United States and the Mexican Order of the Águila Azteca. López remembers his military service in Europe during the war and the importance of his family. Other interviewees include John Lopez, Beatrice Lopez de Pedraza, Marie Peretti, Virginia Rogers, Alfredo Valenzuela, Guy Whitweir, and Maggie Whitweir.
