Miscellaneous photograph collection - UTRGV Library Brownsville

The collection includes historical photographs of people, places, and events from locations across the Lower Rio Grande Valley, including but not limited to Brownsville, San Benito, Harlingen, Mercedes, Mission, and Rio Grande City. Photographs are in a variety of formats, including aerial, postcards, silver gelatin, etc. Dates vary, bulk 1930s to 1970s.

Black and white (silver gelatin) photograph by A. Rogers Studio depicting Cameron County Sheriff Art Goolsby, along with members of his department and a team of hounds on leashes. The group is presumably posing on the steps of the Cameron County Courthouse.
