Analytical properties for the fifth-order b-family Novikov model

Abstract

In this paper, we study a fifth-order b-family Novikov (FObFN) model. Firstly, we establish the local well-posedness and blow-up phenomena for the FObFN model. Secondly, we prove the global existence of the solution in some special cases. Then, we discuss the longtime behavior in the support of momentum density with compactly supported initial data. Finally, persistence properties of the solution are also investigated.
