Description
"Part of the bay front of the city of Port Isabel. This panorama was made from the top of the old lighthouse and gives a clear idea of the water front before the real development program was gotten underway. The railway wharf, two fishing piers and two boat piers are shown in this view. The house on the bluff at the left is the one occupied by President Harding when he spent a vacation in Point Isabel between the election and introduction into office of the presidency. President Harding was only one of the noted men who have come to Port Isabel to enjoy recreation of a seaside playground."
