Born March 1, 1907, Alice Savage Pfeifer describes her memories of what life was like in the Rio Grande Valley. Savage discusses her childhood memories of her father Robert Lee Savage's general store, San Juan Hotel, railroad travel, and her siblings. She also shares memories of husband, Frank Pfeifer, and their nine children.
