Description

Mr. Trevor Wende from Advantix Systems presents "Liquid Desiccant Air Conditioning: Saves Energy, Controls Humidity, Cleans Air" during the HVAC Sustainable Practices Workshop hosted and presented by the Office for Sustainability at the University of Texas - Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, March 21, 2012. Mr. Wende also discusses the low-maintenance costs and numerous commercial projects that have implemented liquid desiccant air conditioning. He also reveals how liquid desiccant air conditioning's control of humidity saves money in massive mold and mildew maintenance costs. The presentation was introduced by Marianella Quiroga-Quintanilla, Director of Sustainable Programs for the Office for Sustainability at UTPA.
