Briana Cortez, a Brownsville resident who was chosen to serve as the first Virtual Commencement Bell Ringer for UTRGV, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Biology, and celebrated her summa cum laude honors with a morning, socially distanced watch party with her family.
