Hand-colored lithograph. The Army of Vera Cruz is surrendering their weapons to General Scott of the American Army, the Mexican flag can be seen on the ground along with instruments. The American army is directing the Vera Cruz army while on horseback. "The Mexican Soldiers marching and surrendering their arms to Gen. Scott". "Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1847 by N. Currier, in the Clerk's office of the District court of the Southern District of N.Y." 18.5" x 14.75"
