Description
Mexican Army can be seen evacuating. Soldiers are leaving in masses. An American Flag can be seen on the right top of the drawing. The Mexican leader can be seen surrendering his weapon to the Americans. "The Mexicans Evacuating Veracruz. and surrendering their arms to the U.S. Army under Gen. Scott". "Entered according to the act of Congress in the year 1847, by Sarony & Major in the Clerk's office of the district court of the Southern District of N.Y."
