Abstract
The main focus of the study is to analyze the stability of the squat exercise. The squat is a common exercise that persons do for exercise. The study analyze the time series of the normal component of the ground reaction forces and each coordinate of the center of pressure. Theses time series are used to estimate the Lyapunov Exponents using Rosenstein method. MATLAB from Mathworks is used to calculate the graphs and program the methods. We compare this result with the literature and previous experiments. This work gives more information relating the safety of the squat exercise when adding additional weight.
