Description

Black and white photograph. Excursion party posing in front of Shary Lake. This photograph was taken a month before the picture of the building of the Shary house was taken. By then, the lake had already drained away. The current "lake" is to the left, and the depression where Shary wanted the lake is to the right. They planted citrus trees on the failed lake bed.
