Description
Quinta Mazatlan Historical Marker, home of Jason Matthews then later Frank S. The ceremony starts with a funny story, then a prayer dedicated to the history of their city McAllen. Dr. Norton goes on to talk about Jason Matthews, who then calls Judge Thomas to speak about Jason Matthews. He discusses the creation of the Juarez Club and the creation of Miller airport, and finishes his speech by remembering the great times he and Jason had together. Fran Isabelle introduces the Hidalgo County Historical Commission Members. Dr. Norton then continues with the research of Quinta Mazatlan by Anne McGee, and how they had to speak with many to be able to have enough information for the land marker. Lucille recalls her memories with Jason Mathews and his home, also mentioning his wife.
