David M. Oshinsky, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and History professor at The University of Texas at Austin, will be the speaker for the fall Distinguished Lecture Series at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College. Oshinsky won the Pulitzer Prize in History for his book, "Polio: An American Story." He will speak at 7 p.m., Thursday, October 13, at the Science and Engineering Technology Building Lecture Hall.
