Dr. William Fannin, President ad interim of UT Brownsville has been leading UTB during the transition to UTRGV. A former Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at UT Permian Basin, Dr. Fannin said he felt at home coming to another UT System institution, and that he and his wife, Valerie, knew they would enjoy their year in the Rio Grande Valley.
