Description

Dr. Sanjay Kumar is an assistant professor in the Department of Engineering. His areas of expertise and research include fluid mechanics using air flow, fluid flow and shock waves. Kumar came to UTB/TSC in 2006 and teaches fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, gas dynamics, turbulence and statistics and dynamics. Much of his research is applicable to complex mechanics and physics of airplanes, submarines, rockets and automobiles. He received his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology in 2003 and is a member of the American Physical Society and Sigma Xi.
