Elena L. Marin is a practicing physician and serves as the Executive Director for Su Clinica Familiar, a private non-profit family health clinic with six clinics in Cameron and Willacy counties. She graduated from TSC in 1975 with an Associate of Arts degree.

After graduating from TSC, Marin went on to the University of Houston and earned a degree in pharmacy. In 1983, Marin graduated from the School of Medicine from Boston University. She completed her pediatric residency at Duke University School of Medicine. In 1986, she joined Su Clinica as a staff physician. She became Executive Director in 1996.
