Description
It was one year ago that the world watched as an earthquake and tsunami devastated Japan. At the Brownsville Guitar Festival and Competition on the campus of UT Brownsville and Texas Southmost College, the victims of that national tragedy were honored with a piece of music called "Shiki." The collaborative piece was performed by the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and the UTB-TSC student guitar ensemble under the baton of the composer, Japanese guitarist Shingo Fujii.
