Description

Doris Cedillo-Clemente, a sophomore music education major at The University of Texas at Brownsville, sang the soprano aria “O mio babbino caro” from the 1918 Puccini opera Gianni Schicchi during a farewell reception for Dr. Kenneth I. Shine. Shine was honored for his efforts in helping establish The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine by the UTRGV SOM Community Advisory Board at a board meeting on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, held in the Luis Colom Biomedical Research Building on the UTB campus.
