Description

UT System Chancellor Francisco G. Cigarroa met with high school students, religious leaders and development and alumni board members on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013 in Lyford and at the UT Regional Academic Health Center in Harlingen, Texas. A $196 million Permanent University Fund check was also presented in a special ceremony. The funds are the first ever to be awarded to south Texas institutions and the first for the new UT university. Paul Chouy / UT Brownsville.
