Description
The UT Pan American University Theatre Productions presents "Arsenic and Old Lace" by Joseph Kesselring, a true American comedy classic, February 29-March 4. This farcical comedy tells the story of two charming, innocent ladies who populate their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously "acceptable" roomers and the antics of their nephews, Teddy (who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt) and Mortimer (a manic theatre critic). The performance runs February 29-March 3 at 7:30 p.m. and March 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the Albert L. Jeffers Theatre in the Communication Arts and Science Building on the corner of University Drive and Sugar Road. Ticket prices include general admission, $8; reserved seating, $12; non-UTPA students, $3.00 with their school IDs; and UTPA students, faculty and staff enter free with their UTPA ID plus one free guest. UTPA students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend open dress rehearsal on Monday, February 27 at 7:30 p.m. Open seating will only be available for the Monday dress rehearsal. Special Note: No children below the third grade will be admitted. For reservations, group reservations or more information, call the University Theatre Box Office at (956) 665-3581.
