Hand-colored lithograph. "Death of Mayor Ringgold at the Battle of Palo Alto" Johnson Fry & Co. Published New York 11.5" x 10.75". Major Ringgold is wounded on the ground with his horse. One of his men is assisting him. Soldiers can be seen using a cannon behind them. A lone soldier can be seen dead in front of Major Ringgold.
